DIY Physical Collection Relocation:
Considerations for Moving to Offsite Storage
20 Student workers, 12 specially designed book carts, 8 Access Services personnel, and 1 box truck. This session reviewed how Kimbel Library accomplished the relocation of their 88,000 volume collection from the main library to an offsite facility in preparation for a major facility renovation in just under 2 weeks.
